Barbara Romero, office manager, and Pat Wagner, office associate, would be happy to answer any questions you have before your visit; you can speak with them by calling 212-717-9205. We are committed to working with you in a partnership that is often missing from today's medical care.

Dr. Solomon devotes a great deal of time getting to know you. At your first visit and at your subsequent annual check-ups you will spend one to one-and-a-half hours with him exploring your medical history, family background, and work and life experience, as well as doing your physical exam, and performing whatever blood tests or routine diagnostic tests are needed. Before your visit is over he will develop a long-range plan for you that addresses any problems you may have. Dr. Solomon also will discuss how to minimize future health-related problems.

He is readily available to help you with any new issues that arise after your visit or to help with problems that require ongoing attention. Every year he will re-assess your health status, review the screening tests you need, and adjust your fitness plan. Over time you may develop high blood pressure, high cholesterol, arthritis, diabetes, asthma, anxiety, depression or other medical conditions. As a specialist in Internal Medicine Dr. Solomon is expertly equipped to manage all of these problems and to coordinate the care you may need from a wide range of other specialists.

Finally, Dr. Solomon is well prepared to guide your end-of-life care for a death with dignity, autonomy, and comfort, whether that is at home, at a hospice or at the hospital.
